Features

Adaptive bitrate

Steps the encoder bitrate down when the network is congested, climbs back when it recovers. All thresholds are configurable.

Editable target on the dock

Change your live ceiling without opening settings. The plugin adjusts the encoder on the next tick.

Stream-breaking alert

A red banner inside the dock and a desktop toast fire the moment your upload effectively collapses, so you know to act fast.

Auto-disables OBS built-in DBR

On stream start, the plugin turns off the OBS beta dynamic-bitrate setting and restores it on stop, so the two systems do not fight.

Installation

Windows

  1. Download obs-connection-manager-0.1.0-setup.exe from the latest release above
  2. Run the installer. It detects your OBS installation and places files in the correct directory.
  3. Restart OBS Studio
  4. Open View → Docks → Connection Manager to show the dock

If you downloaded a zip, extract it so the contents merge into your OBS installation folder (C:\Program Files\obs-studio\).
